Key Insights

  • Only three out of ten companies in India are planning to invest resources for L&D activities in 2020. Also, as much as 80% of the total budget for L&D is being deployed for entry and mid-level employees.

  • There has been a marginal increase of 13% in the budgets allocated for L&D in 2020 vs. 2019.

While one set of organizations termed AI and automation the most significant existential threat to humankind, the other group believed that the future was far more benign.
